Aspiring young tennis players have two more weeks to get high-quality instruction and have some fun at the Sue Feldman Tennis Camp at the Easton Community Center. The weeklong sessiontaught by Sue and her son Charlesare open to kids ages 5 to 15 and cost $280 for members and $300 for nonmembers.
More advanced tennis players can take lessons with Charles, who plays for the Quinnipiac tennis team. The advanced class costs $100 for the week. The camp's goal is to increase tennis skill, have fun, and instill a love of tennis in young players. Groups are divided by age and skill level. The camp takes place in the center's indoor air-conditioned court.
Feldman, an Easton resident, was a standout player on the University of Florida tennis team in her college years. She also won a silver medal at the 1993 Maccabiah Games in Israel. The ECC said in a press release it is "delighted to the Sue Feldman Tennis Camp as an integral part of its summer sports camp program."
