ESPN personality Mike Greenberg will be stopping by the McManus Room in the Westport Library on July 7 to discuss his new book Mike and Mike's Rules for Sports and Life . Greenberg is one half of ESPN Radio's morning talk show "Mike and Mike in the Morning," co-hosting with former NFL defenseman Mike Golic.
Greenberg's book, co-authored by Golic, touches on their many life lessons learned and wacky adventures the pair has ventured on in their time in the sports world. "Greenie," as "Mike and Mike" fans know him, also serves as an anchor on ESPN's Sportscenter and a sometimes play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football . His first book, Why My Wife Thinks I'm an Idiot , was a New York Times bestseller and was nominated for a Quill Award in 2006 for best sports book.
Greenberg is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and lives with his family in Westport. The event is free and open to the public and books will be available to be purchased and signed by Greenberg.
