Diversity Day offered were opportunities for students to learn about the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
Students circulated through various stations exploring what it would feel like to have these challenges. Having a hearing loss, using a wheelchair, learning braille, and using a guide dog were just some of the experiences the students had.
Megan Clarke, assistant principal at Long Lots, and a group of parent volunteers organized the event.
