Westport Schools To Be Closed Monday

WESTPORT, Conn. – Westport schools will be closed Monday due to the heavy snowfall, Superintendent Elliott Landon announced Sunday evening.

"Communities such as Fairfield, Trumbull, Bridgeport and Stratford, where many of our teachers, administrators, secretaries, custodians, bus drivers and school lunch workers live, continue to have unplowed and impassable roads which have made it impossible for many of these employees of the Westport Public Schools to get to work on Monday," Landon said in an email to parents.

Schools are expected to open on time on Tuesday, Landon said.
