Weston's Hurlbutt Opens Kindergarten Registration Process

WESTON, Conn. -- Weston's Hurlbutt Elementary School has opened kindergarten registration for the 2014-15 school year.

Preparations for the kindergarten class of 2014-15 are underway, the school said. Children who will turn 5 on or before Jan. 1, 2015, are eligible to begin kindergarten next fall. Residents who missed the Monday, Dec. 9, drop-in registration day can contact Laurie Eagle at 203-291-1446 for more information.

Registration materials can be obtained by any of the following:

Your child’s current preschool
On the district website
Hurlbutt Elementary School main office
Materials and documents to bring to registration:
Completed registration packet
Proof of residency such as utility bill – landline telephone, gas, electric, cable bill
Copy of your child’s birth certificate

An informational meeting will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, in the South House Cafeteria. This will give residents the opportunity to meet the administration, and to learn more about the kindergarten program.
