Staples High Musicians Rally To Replace Sheet Music Destroyed In Hurricane

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Staples High School Music Department is pairing with Luck's Music to raise money to replace Texas public school sheet music libraries lost in Hurricane Harvey.

Several fundraising events will be taking place to support the students' efforts. 

On Friday, Oct. 27, Staples football half-time will feature the SHS Jazz Ensemble, and Staples musicians will hold a "Chamber-a-thon" on Nov. 3. Sponsored students will play and be accepting donations.

Luck's Music President Melissa Luck has pledged a matching grant of $10,000 nationwide to help replace the Texas sheet music.
