WESTPORT, Conn. – With one simple action — the moving of the tassels on their mortar boards — the 424 seniors in the Staples High School Class of 2012 officially became alumni Tuesday afternoon.

CL&P Reports Power Outages In Westport

WESTPORT/NORWALK, Conn. -- A total of 66 customers were without power in Westport and 35 customers in Norwalk at about 2:45 p.m. Friday, Connecticut Light & Power reported.
