Weston High School's 207 seniors graduate tonight at 6 p.m. The ceremony will take place under a tent between the middle school and high school.
Guests will be welcomed by Class President Daniel Goldberg. Superintendent of Schools Jerome Belair will address the seniors and their guests and senior Mackenzie Young will give the student address. William Moeder, social studies teacher, will give the faculty address.
Senior Colleen Crawley, a soprano, will accompany pianist and local jazz legend Chris Coogan in a performance of Ahrens and Flaherty's "The Human Heart" from "Once on This Island." Seniors Cara Mackler (vocals), Daniel Goldberg (drums) and junior Alex Brown (guitar) will play their rendition of John Mayer's "Stop This Train."
Valedictorian Jessica Welsh and Salutatorians Aaron Kabcenell and Katherine Lee will be recognized for their academic achievement.
Philip Schaefer, Chair of the Board of Education, and Superintendent Jerome Belair will present diplomas and members of the student council will read students' names. Student Council Co-President Margaret Sanborn will give the closing remarks.
