Region 9 Students In Easton, Redding Heading Back To Class

EASTON/REDDING, Conn. - Across Easton and Redding on Wednesday, students will be heading back to class for the start of the 2014-15 school year.

Here are the start times for the schools across the region:

  • Joel Barlow High School - 7:30 a.m. 
  • Redding Elementary School in Redding - 8:05 a.m.
  • Helen Keller Middle School in Easton - 8:10 a.m. 
  • John Reed Middle School in Redding - 8:55 a.m. 
  • Samuel Staples Elementary School in Easton - 9 a.m. 

The bus schedule is available online here  for parents and residents with valid Eason or Redding addresses. 

Easton's first Board of Education meeting of the school year will be on Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the library of Helen Keller Middle School.

Redding's first Board of Education meeting will be on Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at John Reed Middle School. 

Region 9 Board of Education will hold its first regular meeting on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Joel Barlow library.
