Westport's Tanen, Higgins Group Realtor, Wins Women's Council's State Honor

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Nadine Tanen of The Higgins Group in Westport was named 2014 Connecticut member of the year for the Women's Council of Realtors.

Tanen was honored at the Women’s Council’s Awards, Recognition & Meet the Candidates session in Washington, D.C., earlier this month.

Tanen, a six-year member of WCR, has served as Southern Fairfield County Chapter President Elect, Chapter President, Connecticut State President Elect, State President and State Governor.

In addition, she has served as 2014 National Focus Committee Chair. Tanen has recently expanded her business to include commercial real estate with EAC Commercial at The Higgins Group. She enjoys working with the exceptional members of the Women’s Council and has expanded her business by the networking it provides.

Growing up in Westport has enabled Tanen to sell her hometown and Fairfield County easily to buyers and represent sellers with a unique knowledge of the area. She currently lives there with her husband and two boys. She enjoys many local outdoor activities including tennis, running and rock climbing.
