Trapping is legal in the state as long as the person doing the trapping has a permit, the New Canaan Advertiser reported.

The issue residents have is the leg traps used generally are considered inhumane, reported the New Canaan Advertiser.

The Humane Society has said it will deal with the situation, said the New Canaan Advertiser.
