Register Now For Winter And Spring Classes At Darien Arts Center

DARIEN, Conn. -- Students of all ages can register beginning Thursday, Jan. 2, for winter and spring classes at the Darien Arts Center (DAC) in a wide array of courses that cover music, theater, visual arts and dance.

The DAC Visual Arts Department provides learning experiences in drawing, painting, cartooning and sculpting for both adults and children. Classes in watercolors, oils and acrylics are among the offerings to choose from. Vacation camps are also available.

Dance enthusiasts will find ballet, Broadway dance, modern, jazz, hip-hop and tap classes. There are also pilates classes to help develop core strength and flexibility for all levels. Martial arts classes taught by certified black belt instructors are offered for the whole family.

For those with a musical inclination, there are group singing classes, and private music lessons in piano, guitar, violin, and ukulele. Mommy, Music and Me classes are for infants up to 2 years old and there is a drop off music class for ages 5 to 6.
