Lee Giannattasio, Old Car Enthusiast

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford native Lee Giannattasio, 61, died on Sunday.

He was born on May 23, 1950 and started L&M Roofing of Connecticut in 1975. He started Villa Crest Builders in 1994 and was a member of Sheet Metal Local 79. Giannattasio had a passion for old Harley Davidson motorcycles and old cars, and he also loved to sing and dance.

Giannattasio is survived by two daughters, Lisa Nuzzo and her husband, Jim, and Michelle Robotti and her husband, Cris; two brothers, Lawrence “Pepper” Giannattasio and his wife, Geraldine, and Joseph Giannattasio; a sister, Pam Albero and her husband, John, and five grandchildren.

A Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien. Calling hours will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
