Road Work on Ridge Street in Rye Brook

RYE BROOK, NY - There were three separate points on Ridge Street in Rye Brook undergoing road work within a five mile stretch on Tuesday.

The first site is located on the Rye Rye Brook border as county officials worked to repair a water main break across from St. Mary's Cemetery.

About a quarter mile up county officals and ADT are working to install a new traffic signal pole directly in front of Rye Ridge Plaza. Workers have dug up a portion of the road in front of the plaza and have constricted traffic to one lane through the intersection.

According to Michael Nowak of the village's Public Works department, the third site just north of Crawford Park is part of the same project. Nowak did not speculate as to when the roadways would be cleared.
