Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Makes Strides With New Education Director

Since revamping its education program in January of 2015, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England and Westchester Properties has seen a higher success rate under the new Director of Education, Paulette Meijer.

In her 25 year history as a real estate sales educator, Meijer has led the efforts for national training at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate as well as Prudential Connecticut Realty.

In less than one year at the helm of education at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England and Westchester Properties, Meijer has completely revamped the program, making new and experienced agents more successful than ever.

New agents to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England and Westchester Properties are immediately introduced to programs designed specifically for them:

Opening Doors, a one-day orientation, paves the way for all professionals. The program is fast-paced and filled with information, introductions and networking.

Experienced sales executives are immersed in Connections, where they learn to integrate the company’s value proposition with their experience and expertise to create a winning combination to service buyers and sellers.

In CORE (Creating Opportunities in Real Estate), a 10-day training offered to newly licensed associates, the focus is on the root of the real estate business – creating memorable home buying and selling experiences for clients, while using state-of-the-art technologies. Agents learn practical application of service-based sales.

“CORE is designed to equip new agents with the skills and confidence to hit the ground running,” Meijer said. “Case studies and role playing give agents the opportunity for practical application, increasing productivity at a faster rate than agents in a traditional classroom setting.”

In addition to the cornerstone programs from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England and Westchester Properties and other locally offered programs, agents can tap into the plethora of Virtual Instructor Led classes and pre-recorded programs offered through Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
