Westport Test Drives State's New Online Voter Registration System

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport will test out the new online voter registration system on Thursday, March 6 at 4 p.m. at Westport Town Hall when two seniors from Staples High will register to vote using the new system, Registrars of Voters Marla Cowden and Kevin White announced.

Citizens with a current, valid ID from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles can process registrations and updates electronically from a home computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Citizens without the required ID can complete registrations or updates using the system, but will need to print out, sign and mail the document to the following address:
