WESTPORT, Conn. -- The League of Women Voters of Westport invites the public to a legislative forum called “Pizza Pie & Politics” set for Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Red Barn Restaurant in Westport.

The meeting will be moderated by Jean Rabinow of the League of Women Voters of Connecticut. There is no charge and a cash bar will be available.

The three incumbent state legislators, including Sen. Toni Boucher, R-26th District, Rep. Jonathan Steinberg, D-136th District, and Rep. Gail Lavielle, R-143rd District, will be joined by newly elected Sen. Tony Hwang, R-28th District.

They will share their visions and priorities for the upcoming legislative session that begins on Thursday, Jan. 8.

"This is an opportunity for Westport residents to come enjoy a pizza and ask questions, make suggestions, and learn how they will be represented in the upcoming months," said  League President Celeste LaCroix. "We’re pleased to be kicking off our new year with this informative session.”
