Weston Votes In New Probate Judge, Keeps First Selectman

WESTON, Conn. - Weston voters kept Democrat Gayle Weinstein as their First Selectman in an unopposed race, but voted for Lisa Wexler as the new probate judge.

Here are the results for the other open seats:

Democratic candidate David Glenn Muller won out over Republican Dennis Tracey for the open selectman seat.

On the Board of Finance, all three Democratic candidates -- Melissa Zales Koller, Allan Grauberd and Richard Bochinski -- beat Republican Patrice Kopas for the three empty seats.

Republican candidate Elise A. Major joins Democratic candidates Denise Harvey and Sara Spaulding on the Weston Board of Education, beating out Republican Chris Moore for the three open seats.

Democratic candidate Marina Coprio won a seat on the Board of Assessment Appeals over Republican candidate Ryan Cornell. However, Republican Hillary Koyner won a vacant seat for the board over Democrat Rob Nordlinger.

Democrat Sally Korsh joins Republicans Thomas J. Failla and Britta Ann Lerner for three seats on Weston's Planning and Zoning Commission, topping Democrat Howard Aibel. Republican James Carlon is also joining the board after winning an unopposed race for a vacant seat.

Republican Frederick Noyes Jr. and Democrat W. MacLeod Snaith ran unopposed for two seats on the Zoning Board of Appeals. Joining them as alternates are Republican John Moran and Democrat Don Scarborough.

All four candidates for the Police Commission were voted on to the board: Republicans Woody Bliss and Peter Ottomano and Democratics Susan Moch and Jeffery Eglash.
