Weston Offers Evening Hours For Voters To Register For Primary

WESTON, Conn. -- The registrars of voters in Weston will be open on Tuesday, April 12, at Weston Town Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. to register any new voters or to allow unaffiliated voters to choose a political party in advance of the primary on Tuesday, April 26.

Only registered Democrats and Republicans may participate in the Connecticut primary.

The deadline for changing parties has passed. Voters who are new or unaffiliated as of Jan. 26 may enroll in a major party until noon on Monday, April 25, to be eligible to vote in the primary of that party.

The mail-in/online registration deadline is April 21.
