WESTON, Conn. -- Newly elected Weston First Selectman Nina Daniel aims to tackle the issues, both big and small, facing the town in her new post, according to The Weston Forum.
In her two months in office, Daniel has helped to facilitate the restocking and reopening of the Weston Food Pantry and granted $2,000 in aid to the Mort Schindel exhibit at the Weston Historical Society, The Weston Forum reported.
Daniel believes Weston's biggest issue is whether to build a new public safety complex or renovate the police station, the Forum said. She believes renovation is the best option and opposes building a new facility and increasing the town's budget, said The Weston Forum.Click here to read The Weston Forum article.
