The Building Committee reviews and makes recommendations on the planning, design and construction of town and school building projects.

“It is very gratifying that both Carrie and Bill are willing to continue to serve the town for another term and provide continuity on the Building Committee," RTC Chair Bob Ferguson said.

Pianin’s expertise includes underwriting investments, deal structuring and asset management. She worked for AIG Global Real Estate for over a decade, where she held a variety of senior positions, which included managing AIG’s domestic real estate portfolio of over 6 million square feet of shopping centers across the United States and in Puerto Rico.

Pianin and her family have lived in Weston for 22 years. She is a graduate of Wellesley College.

“Thus far it’s been a great experience. The building committee’s involvement in the library renovation and police/town hall redevelopment are projects that will have a great impact on our town. I look forward to being an active participant; adding value from expertise gathered from over 25 years of working,” Pianin said.

Proceller has 24 years of diverse commercial property management, facilities management and acquisitions experience with New York City private real estate firms and an industry leading investment management company. He is a senior vice president of property management with Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. in New York.

He and his family have lived in Weston for 19 years. He holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut and a master of science in real estate from New York University.

"The middle and high school window replacement projects were great projects to be involved with due to their complexity. The lessons learned will translate will as we move forward with the police station improvements. I am confident that the Town will end up with an excellent facility,” Proceller said.

The Weston Republican Town Committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, go to this link or contact weston.ct.rtc@gmail.com.
