The event is rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Westport Public Library. The event will take place in the McManus Room.
Residents should note the event is taking place at a new location. The open house will include PowerPoint presentations at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. There also will be exhibits and moments for questions and comments on the related PowerPoints. The presentation at 5:30 p.m. will air on the Public Access TV station (Channel 79 and 99).
The presentation at 7:30 p.m. also will be recorded and then streamed on the town’s website. Comments on the draft are encouraged and welcomed at downtownwestportct.com.
“Unfortunately, due to our recent snow storms this meeting has needed to be postponed twice," said First Selectman Jim Marpe. "While our consultants and DSC leadership were prepared to proceed and keep to our planned schedule; we deemed it more important that there be the maximum opportunity for Westporters to participate and provide input.
"Having the meeting during bad weather would have diminished that possibility. I hope many Westporters will now take this new opportunity to attend this important public session or watch it at home.”
