“I’m humbled and honored to receive this major endorsement from the Fairfield RTC," said Wolf. “Our country is going in the wrong direction. Professional politicians like Dick Blumenthal have lied to us for years. We Republicans must nominate someone who can beat Blumenthal. I am the only one who can win. With the support of the Fairfield RTC, we are going to make history this November."

Wolf seeks the Republican nomination to run against Democratic U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal in the fall. State Rep. Dan Carter, R-Bethel, is also seeking the Republican nomination. The Republican Party convention will be in May.

The Wolf for Senate campaign is executing an aggressive strategy to consolidate Republican support that includes mail, phones, door-to-door and digital.

Wolf, a Stamford businessman, competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, where he placed fourth in the shot put competition.
