EASTON, Conn. -- Write-in candidate Val Buckley has ended her court challenge of the results of the Easton election, according to the Easton Courier .
After an earlier challenge by Buckley, a judge had ordered a recount of the Nov. 5 election ballots. The recount had shown that Republican Adam Dunsby was still the winner. But a dispute continued over 28 of the ballots. Buckley, however, decided Friday not to continue her court challenge of the results.
