EASTON, Conn. -- A court-ordered recount this week found that Adam Dunsby won the race for Easton first selectmen , but the decision is not yet set in stone, according to the Easton Courier.
Dunsby, with 1,060 votes, is leading write-in Val Buckley, with 1,025 votes. The sticking point is 28 ballots that had the write-in oval filled in but no name provided.
State Superior court Judge Barbara Bellis is expected to make a decision on the ballots in question Friday, Nov. 29, the Easton Courier said.
