Daniel Defeats Incumbent Weinstein In Weston First Selectman Race

WESTON, Conn. -- Nina Daniel defeated incumbent Gayle Weinstein in the race for first selectman of Weston Tuesday.

According to unofficial results reported to Daily Voice, Republican Daniel received 1,442 votes, beating Democrat Weinstein, who received 1,327 votes. Weinstein was seeking a fourth term in office.

In the Board of Education race, incumbent Dana Levin lost her seat. Incumbents Ellen Uzenoff and Phil Schaefer were re-elected along with Dan McNeill and Jacqueline Blechinger.
