Woman Charged With DUI After Westport Accident

WESTPORT, Conn. – A 30-year-old Bridgeport woman was charged with drunken driving in Westport Sunday after she drove into four parked cars, police said.

Lauren Sevilla was driving on Saugatuck Avenue when the accident happened, police said. When speaking to officers, Sevilla’s speech was slurred and she smelled of alcohol, the police report said, and her eyes were red.

Sevilla failed field sobriety tests and refused breath tests, the police report said.

She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.  She was released after posting a $500 bond and is due in court on Oct. 24.
