On March 25, police responded to Naked Greens at 239 Danbury Road in Wilton after a car slammed into the front of the building at around 2:30 a.m. The crash caused significant damage to the restaurant, forcing it to close for a couple of days while repairs were made.

Police said that the driver, Zachary Prete, was near the car and appeared disoriented and confused when they arrived at the scene of the crash.

When officers spoke with him, he thought he was near Amity High School in Woodbridge, according to police reports. He was taken to Norwalk Hospital.

Police said that Prete had a blood alcohol content of .18, more than twice the legal limit.

A warrant was issued, and he was arrested on May 4. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence while under 21, failure to drive in the proper lane and possession of alcohol by a minor in public.

Bond was set at $500, and he was given a court date of May 17.
