WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport woman turned herself in to police Thursday, July 9, after learning there was a warrant out for her arrest in connection with a domestic disturbance, police said.
Natalia Ocampo was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, criminal violation of a protective order and third-degree criminal mischief, police said.
The warrant stemmed from a June 30 call to a West End Avenue residence on a report of a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend, police said.
Investigating officers found evidence of an altercation, police said. Ocampo broke a television and became physical with her boyfriend, police said.
Officers also determined that Ocampo also violated a court-issue protective order, police said.
Ocampo posted $1,000 bond. Her court date was July 10, police said.
