Westport Woman Charged With Breaking Into Office To Confront Ex-Boyfriend

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport woman was arrested on charges of breaking into a Main Street office and confronting her ex-boyfriend in the middle of the night, police said.  

At about 1 a.m. Monday, June 1, Westport police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a downtown business.

The woman, identified as Anna Janisch, 29, of Stoneboat Road, had forced open the locked door of a second floor office and confronted her former boyfriend, police said.

Janisch also damaged a planter outside the building before going inside, police said. She was arrested at the scene and charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

She posted $1,000 bond and appeared in Superior Court in Norwalk on June 1.
