WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe was part of a swearing-in ceremony for a new member of the Westport Police force recently.

Photo Credit: ContributedBrendan Fearon, 25, comes to the Westport Police Department from the Monroe Police Department. He also has served as he Emergency Management Coordinator with the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals.
He is a 2010 graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a bachelor of science degree in emergency management and homeland security.
