The account associated with the checks did not have sufficient funds when the checks were deposited, police said. A warrant was submitted to Norwalk Court for Connors' arrest, police said.

On Friday, Westport Officers traveled to the Ridgefield Police Department and took Connors into custody. Connors was transported to Westport Police Headquarters, where he was processed on a charge of issuing a bad check.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 29.

O&G Industries is one of the Northeast’s leading providers of construction services and products.

Police did not release the amount of the bad checks.
