WESTPORT, Conn. — A 22-year-old Norwalk man was charged with drug possession in Westport on Tuesday night after police said he was found with a syringe full of heroin.
At approximately 9:50 p.m., police received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Newtown Turnpike, the arrest report said. When officers arrived, they found Rafal Majdak crouched down in the back of 40 Newtown Turnpike with the syringe, police said.
Majdak was accused of being in possession of other drug paraphernalia, police said. Majdak was charged with possession of narcotics, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 15.
