Westport Police: N.H. Man Found With 291 Oxycodone Pills In Car

WESTPORT, Conn. — A 58-year-old man from New Hampshire who was stopped on a motor vehicle infraction was arrested on drug charges after officers found hundreds of Oxycodone pills in his possession, Westport police said.

After pulling over the man's car Thursday afternoon and receiving consent to search it, officers found an unlabeled pill container containing 291 Oxycodone pills in the vehicle, police said. 

The man was unable to produce evidence of a prescription for the pills, police said. 

Edward Macisaac of Farmington, N.H., was charged with possession of a controlled substance and narcotic possession not in original container. He was held on $10,000 bond and issued a court date of Sept. 21 at Norwalk court. 

In addition, he did not have an driver's license and was issued an infraction for that.
