WESTPORT, Conn. — A 36-year-old man on a motorcycle who was stopped by police on Main Street in Westport on a traffic violation Wednesday was arrested after he became uncooperative with the officer, police said.
The motorcycle operator, identified by police as Benjamin Massimi, initially would not provide a license or registration when requested by the officer request and later became increasingly non-compliant, police said.
Massimi of Westport was charged with interfering with an officer and issued two motor vehicle violations on charges of operating a motor vehicle with out of state registration beyond 60 days and having an out of state license beyond 30 days. He posted $1,000 bond and was issued a court date of Sept. 28.
