WESTPORT, Conn. – Children at Stepping Stones Preschool in Westport were treated to a visit Tuesday from Westport Police Service Dog Koda, his handler Officer James Loomer and K9 Unit Supervisor Sgt. Ryan Paulsson.
During the visit, the students learned about Koda and the work he does to help the police department and the community, Paulsson said in a statement.
Koda, a Belgian Malinois from Hungary, joined the Westport Police Department last June.
