WESTPORT, Conn. – After the parents of a Staples High School teen who committed suicide asked police to investigate, authorities said they found no evidence that bullying or cyberbullying played a role in the death, according to

Investigators asked that anyone who may have evidence related to the case or to any bullying to come forward, according to

Christopher Lanni, a 14-year-old freshman, committed suicide on Dec. 23. In a public letter to School Superintendent Elliott Landon, his parents asked authorities to investigate weather the teen may have acted because of bullying, the story said.
