WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Fairfield man was arrested on charges of using an altered prescription for painkillers at a Westport CVS, police said.
Douglas Lucas, 53, was charged with changing his Vicodin prescription from 5 milligrams to 7.5 milligrams, police said. The pharmacist noticed the "7" was a different color of ink and confirmed the prescription with the doctor, police said.
Lucas posted $250 cash bond. He has a court date in Norwalk on Feb. 16.
