Westport Police Charge Home Health Aide With Stealing From Patient

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Police recently charged a home health aide with allegedly stealing more than $2,000 from a 91-year-old patient, according to thehour.com.

Lamar Maysonet, 27, of Bridgeport, allegedly used the victim's debit card at seven different ATM machines to withdraw a total of $2,200, thehour.com reported. 

Maysonet allegedly provided a note saying the purchases were made for the victim, but the victim's son said the signature on the document did not match his father's, thehour.com said. 

Maysonet was charged with third-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card and fraudulent use of an ATM. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, June 10, according to thehour.com.
