WESTPORT, Conn. – A 27-year-old New Hampshire man wanted in his home state on burglary and narcotics charges was arrested in Westport Tuesday morning by members of the Westport Detective Bureau and U.S. Marshals, police said.
Westport police were informed that the suspect, William Patrick Boucher, was possibly staying in town, Capt. Sam Arciola said in a statement.
Working with the U.S. Marshal’s Service, detectives tracked Boucher to a home at Lockwood Circle where he was arrested around 6 a.m., Arciola said. Boucher was taken into custody without incident, he said.
Boucher was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Unable to post a $250,000 bond, he was scheduled for arraignment at Norwalk Superior Court.
