WESTPORT, Conn. A 34-year-old Westport man who crashed a car Saturday morning was charged with drunken driving after his blood-alcohol level tested more than two-times the legal limit, police said.
Wesley Morrow of Spring Hill Road crashed the car into a stone wall off Wilton Road and Twin Falls Lane, police said. When officers arrived, Morrows breath smelled of alcohol, his speech was slurred and his eyes were glassy, according to the police report.
Morrow failed field sobriety tests and the results of his breath tests were .224 and .208. The legal blood-alcohol limit is .08. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is due in court on July 31.
