Frano Lesko, 50, was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing. He was unable to post $500 bond and went to court Monday.

Officers were called to the property Sunday evening on a report of vandalism to the town-owned building, police said.

While checking the building, officers found Lesko sleeping in one of the enclosed porch areas, police said.

Officers determined that Lesko was not responsible for the vandalism, police said, but he did not have the right to be in the building, and he was taken into custody.
