Westport Man Charged With Threatening

WESTPORT, Conn. – A 49-year-old Westport man was arrested on a warrant Tuesday and charged with threatening someone who had a protective order against him, police said.

Guy Crowe of Hiawatha Lane is accused of calling the protected person numerous times, making threatening statements and destroying that person’s property, police said.

Crowe was charged with two counts of criminal violation of a protective order, a felony. He also was charged with second-degree threatening, two counts of disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief, all misdemeanors.

He was unable to post a $25,000 bond and was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court on Wednesday.
