David Page turned himself in on Friday.

The Westport Police Department's Detective Bureau received notification June 9  from the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry Unit that Page was in noncompliance with the mandated verification process for a convicted sex offender.

The investigation into the violations confirmed that Page had failed his mandated reporting and an arrest warrant was issued, police said.

Page was charged with failure to register for a sexually violent offense. He posted $2,500 bond and was issued a court date in July in Norwalk Superior Court.
