Westport Man, 69, Charged With Violating Protective Order

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 69-year-old Westport man is being held on a $15,000 bond after police say he violated an order of protection that stemmed from a domestic incident last week in which he's accused of dragging a female victim on the ground, police said.

David Price is charged with violating a protective order after police said he went to the victim's home on Hales Court Friday to retrieve personal belongings. He was prohibited from going to the victim's house following his arrest Wednesday, police said.

Police took Price into custody later Friday at Compo Beach, police said. He's due in court Monday, police said.
