WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 50-year-old Westport man was held on $100,000 bond on several charges, including assault and risk of injury to a child, after police said he threw a female victim to the ground during an argument on Sunday, June 12, in Westport, police said.
Ronald Bansak was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint, risk of injury to a child and interfering with an emergency call, Westport police said.
About 11:30 p.m. June 12, he and the victim had an argument, and police say he threw the victim to the ground and held her face to the floor, police said.
Bansak was held on bond after a June 14 court appearance, police said.
