On Sunday, May 17, investigating officers detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle driven by Dwane Scott during a traffic stop, police said.
A search of the vehicle located a small amount of marijuana, a pipe and three small bags of a white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine, police said.
Scott was charged with possession of a controlled substance, narcotics. He posted $1,500 bond and was issued a court date of May 27.
