WESTON, Conn. -- A schematic design of proposed refurbishment of the Weston police station was presented to the town Board of Selectmen Thursday, Feb. 25, according to the Weston Forum.
Architect Brian Humes of Jacunski Humes Architects created the plan in the footprint of the existing town hall/police department rather than design a new structure or build an addition to the town hall, said the Weston Forum.
Humes’ idea based on the initial draft will cost the town around $2.4 million, reported the Weston Forum.
The Weston Board of Selectmen reportedly talked of buying the Guidera property at the intersection of Norfield and Weston roads to relocate some offices at the meeting, said the Weston Forum.Click here to read the full Weston Forum story.
