Weston Police Receive $5,000 Donation For Bullet-Proof Vests

WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston Board of Selectman unanimously approved a $5,000 donation to the Weston Police Department, according to The Weston Forum.

Weston Police are investigating vehicle break-ins.

New York City resident Michael Offit donates $5,000 annually to the New York Police Department, but opted for a smaller department instead this year, reported The Weston Forum.

Offit's donation will cover eight bullet-proof vests, The Weston Forum said.
