WESTON, Conn. -- In its budget request for the 2105-16 fiscal year, the Weston Police Department is seeking just a little bit less money, according to the Weston Forum .
The request is for $1,799,730, down 0.07% from last year’s budget of $1.811 million, the Forum said.
“I think it is a fair budget,” Weston police Chief John Troxell told the Forum.
The Weston Police Department is requesting a 2015 Ford Police Administrator Utility 4×4 vehicle for $36,588, the Forum said, to replace the chief’s Ford Explorer. Those funds would come from the Vehicle Revenue Fund, the Forum said.
